Anthony Akwetea-Mensah is a results-driven leader with over 25 years of experience in diverse fields, including construction, telecommunication, financial sector, and mining. He is currently the Administrator of the E-Waste Management Fund, where he oversees the management of electronic waste in Ghana.
Prior to his appointment, he was the Executive Director of Joratec Company Limited, where he was responsible for business development and strategy. He also led Premium Realty, a real estate company, as CEO, overseeing the development and construction of various projects for clients in Ghana and abroad. As Managing Director of McOttley Money Lending, he drove business growth and managed financial services.
As General Manager of ACIC Limited, an environmental reclamation company, Anthony shaped the company’s strategic direction and success. Earlier in his career, he worked as a mine surveyor at Satellite Goldfield Limited, and held roles in sales and business development at Standard Chartered Bank and Intercontinental Bank (now Access Bank Ghana).
Anthony holds an MBA in Accounting from Bowling Green State University, Ohio, USA, an MSc in Environmental Engineering from Technical University of Harburg-Hamburg, Germany, and a BSc in Geodetic Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi.
His academic background and professional experience have equipped him with expertise in strategic planning, business development, leadership, environmental management, financial services, and real estate development.
