Dr. Kodimah Siita is a young, energetic environmentalist whose work sits at the intersection of data, agriculture and community development. Holding a PhD in Applied Statistics, he approaches every challenge with a rigorous, evidence‑based mindset, while his credentials as a Chartered Forensic Auditor give him a sharp eye for risk, transparency and accountability—qualities that have become hallmarks of the programmes he leads.
As Executive Director of the Center for Opportunities and Rural Development (CORD Ghana), Dr. Siita oversees an organisation that has made climate action its backbone. Under his guidance, CORD Ghana runs projects on clean energy, biodiversity conservation, climate‑finance mobilisation, water‑sanitation, agroforestry, health services, women’s empowerment, disaster‑risk reduction and child protection.
The NGO’s reach is substantial; it currently works with more than eight thousand small‑scale farmers across the country, helping them adopt resilient farming practices, access markets and build climate‑smart livelihoods.
Beyond the non‑profit world, Dr. Siita is a serial entrepreneur. He founded KodiFarms Ltd., an agribusiness that offers mechanisation services, commercial farming support and training for young people eager to pursue environmentally friendly agriculture. Through KodiFarms, he introduces farmers to low‑carbon technologies, improved seed varieties and post‑harvest processing methods that add value to their produce.
He also serves as managing partner of Royal Cassava Company Ltd., a venture that processes cassava in northern Ghana. The company not only provides a reliable market for local growers but also demonstrates how small‑scale processing can be scaled up to meet regional demand while creating decent jobs for women and youth.
In addition, Dr. Siita heads Kodimah Junior Car Rentals, a transport service that supplies reliable vehicles to rural entrepreneurs and community groups, further stimulating local economies.
With more than seventeen years in the development sector, he has collaborated with a wide array of partners—from grassroots NGOs to national ministries and international donors such as World Vision Ghana, USAID, the Youth Climate Council and the Strategic Youth Network for Development (SYND).
He has acted as a consultant and trainer on topics ranging from agricultural innovation and climate finance to gender inclusion and youth entrepreneurship. His expertise has taken him to speaking engagements at regional conferences, where he shares insights on how data‑driven solutions can accelerate climate resilience.
Dr. Siita is also a mentor, guiding the next generation of change‑makers through programmes like the Green Africa Youth Organization (GAYO), the African Climate Intervention Fellowship for Early‑Career Researchers (ACIFER) and the Green Lead Fellowship.
He regularly contributes as a research associate to several consultancy firms, including DevPlan Consult, ResearchLime Ltd., Driveline Data Consult, Pride Data Ltd. and RigorSys Consult, where he helps translate complex datasets into actionable policy recommendations.
Colleagues describe him as a bridge between hard numbers and on‑the‑ground realities—a professional who can crunch statistics in the morning and roll up his sleeves with farmers in the afternoon.
His blend of analytical rigor, forensic acumen and deep commitment to rural communities positions him as a catalyst for sustainable development and climate resilience not only in Ghana but across the wider African continent.
