Accra, Ghana – David Korletey, a renowned Disability Inclusion Specialist, Therapist, and Climate Inclusion Advocate, is making significant strides in promoting inclusive development and climate action in Ghana.
With over eight years of experience in disability inclusion, programme design, and implementation, Korletey is dedicated to creating systems where persons with disabilities are equipped to succeed, thrive, lead, and contribute to resilient and inclusive societies.
As an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Ghana and co-founder of an inclusive school, Korletey collaborates with communities, institutions, and stakeholders to promote inclusive systems and sustainable opportunities. His expertise in accessibility audits, inclusive programme design, and Universal Design for Learning has been instrumental in driving social change.
Korletey is also at the forefront of climate action, advocating for the meaningful inclusion of persons with disabilities in climate adaptation, resilience-building, disaster preparedness, and sustainable development programmes. “His work emphasizes the importance of ensuring that climate policies, innovations, and community interventions are accessible, equitable, and responsive to the needs of vulnerable populations,” says a colleague.
