Agbogbloshie, Ghana – Green Advocacy Ghana, (GreenAd) a leading player in Ghana’s e-waste management sector, played host to a high-level delegation from the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ghana on Monday, March 2, 2026.
The visit aimed to provide the delegation with a firsthand look at GreenAd’s operations and the impact of their ongoing collaboration.
The delegation, which included the Head of Cooperation at the German Embassy, the Head of the E-Waste Programme at GIZ Ghana, and the Technical Advisor for Sustainable Management and Disposal of E-Waste in Ghana, was given a tour of GreenAd’s facility in Agbogbloshie. Representatives from KfW and MEST were also part of the delegation.

Discussions during the visit highlighted progress made under the Integrated Development Partnership Project on WEEE Thermoplastic Recycling, a initiative that is contributing to the advancement of sustainable e-waste management in Ghana.
GreenAd’s work in e-waste management is crucial to addressing the country’s growing e-waste challenge. The company’s efforts to promote sustainable e-waste management practices align with Ghana’s goals to reduce the environmental impact of e-waste.
The visit underscores the strong partnership between GreenAd and its international partners, including the German government, in promoting sustainable development in Ghana.
