Accra, Ghana — IMPLEMENTERS has announced the 2026 edition of the Climate Forward Summit (CFS 2026), a flagship platform designed to drive coordinated climate action and foster cross-sector collaboration. The summit is scheduled to take place on 9 July 2026 at the Executive Conference Centre GIMPA.
Held under the theme “The Circular Transition: Integrating Waste-to-Wealth Pathways and Clean Energy for Ghana’s Green Industrialisation,” the summit will convene stakeholders from government, the private sector, civil society, development organisations, and the public to address pressing climate and environmental challenges facing Ghana.
Ghana continues to grapple with increasing volumes of plastic, textile, and electronic waste, with significant implications for environmental sustainability, public health, and economic growth. CFS 2026 aims to provide a structured platform for stakeholders to move beyond siloed interventions towards integrated, practical solutions grounded in circular economy principles.
The Climate Forward Summit, an initiative of IMPLEMENTERS, was established to promote dialogue, knowledge exchange, and strategic partnerships within Ghana’s climate ecosystem. Its inaugural edition brought together actors from sectors including extractives and agriculture to begin aligning efforts towards climate resilience.
The 2026 edition builds on this foundation, with a stronger emphasis on implementation, innovation, and scalable solutions that transform waste into economic opportunity.
The summit programme will include high-level panel discussions and keynote addresses by leading experts and policymakers, technical roundtable sessions focused on actionable outcomes, exhibitions showcasing innovations in waste management and sustainable production, and structured networking engagements to facilitate partnerships.
IMPLEMENTERS is inviting organisations, development partners, private-sector institutions, government agencies, civil society organisations, and interested individuals to partner, exhibit, and participate in the summit.
